In August 2017, after a summer of saving from my job at Braum’s, I bought a DJI Mavic Pro—convinced it might change my life. Looking back, it feels more like a time capsule than a turning point, capturing a moment that’s long since passed. By 2019, the drone hobby had faded, which makes coming back to this all the more interesting.
